The last engagement session of winter.

At least I hope so! Not because I love doing engagement sessions but because I can't handle any more snow! I thought we were done with the big snowfalls until mother nature dumped a load of it upon my area. But these two were happy about it (She was at least :) )

Karen and Rob were good sports. Not only was it cold. It was windy. Very windy. And while I was bundled warmly in my coat and gloves, these two battled the cold in long sleeve shirts. And they did it well! Thankfulyl they chose to do there photos at their farm, which is a great change of pace for me, but also it gave us an opportunity to slip inside and warm up inbetween shots. Ahh and the hot chocolate... wait, I never got any!- Karen, you owe me a glass.

Bridal Fair 2009

Well I had a lot of fun at the bridal fair. I hope to hear from some of the many many brides I spoke to. Here's a picture of my booth in all it's glory. There were quite a few other photographers there as well. I wanted to get around and speak to everyone but didn't have the time! Busy busy busy.

It's as cold as the South Pole here

Literally. They said it on the radio. Well, actually this was a couple days ago. -33 degrees. Not with the wind chill..... just -33. Why do I live here again? Because of this fantastic weather my car has been sitting like a lump for 3 days because the gas line is frozen. I'm getting cabin fever. But hey- did you know that if you throw a boiling cup of water in the air outside when it's negative 33 degrees it turns to snow?!

Isabelle + Ryan: Engagement

The three of us bundled up and went to Lowell Park for a wonderful, but cold session. These guys were a lot of fun and great to work with. They are getting married in just a couple months!
